Spanish or calc summer before college

Anonymous
DS will have a part/time job but I’d interested in taking either a calculus or Spanish class this summer before freshman year, not for credit but to bolster his skills.

He’s in AB calc now but lacks some confidence in his math skills and knows he’ll need more advanced calc in college at least. He also feels like his Spanish could be improved.

He doesn’t want to take for a grade or credit though. Obviously he could do something like khan academy but knows himself enough to know he needs a little structure to get himself to do this so something not asynchronous would be best, although online would be fine.

Any ideas? Can he take a NOVA class w/o grades or transferring the credit etc? (He’s going to an instate school)
