Transfer course credits selectively from non-FCPS middle school to FCPS high school

Anonymous
I have a query about credit transfer...

Is it feasible to specifically exclude certain high school credit courses taken in a non-FCPS middle school from transferring to an FCPS high school? DC is currently in 9th grade and is already enrolled in another course that fulfills a graduation requirement, rendering one of the unweighted middle school courses redundant. Given that this is a middle school course transferred from outside FCPS, is it possible to request its exclusion or removal from the FCPS high school transcript?

It is too late if it’s already transferred in. In FCPS middle school grades can be expunged through first quarter of 9th grade. If your kid is already in 9th grade that deadline has passed. I would also like to go back and pick a few courses to disappear off of my son’s transcript but we can’t.

It really, really doesn't matter. Focus on a high SAT/ACT and. AP scores and whatever their extracurricular interest is.
