Kaiser Home Sleep Study

Anonymous
Has anyone done a home sleep study with Kaiser? Do you remember what the typical turn around time for results is once you drop off the equipment after the study? TIA.

We did it before the pandemic, and I think it was a couple of weeks. However, recently, we had a snafu. I was given the run-around before someone figured out that the machine my son used didn't read anything at all, despite the fact we attached everything according to the instructions. He just repeated the test last week, and I really hope it worked!

We were told by a friend that home sleep studies are not accepted at Hopkins or Children's. If your son registers with sleep apnea, would Kaiser send him to Children's for possible tonsil/adenoid removal or do they keep the procedures in-house? Or does your son then have to go get an additional test at a sleep center before getting a referral to see a Children's ENT?
