What to wear to appear attractive but not seem like you are trying?

I have a crush on someone I will see in a professional capacity this week. Environment is pretty casual-- a lot of people wear jeans, including me. I want to look attractive for this person but don't want to draw any attention to the fact that I'm doing this. I generally wear jeans, nice sneakers, a nice tee or sweater, and some minimal jewelry.

The person in question has seen me in more formal business clothes (but nothing in the realm of sexy and it was winter so I was pretty covered up), and also once in workout clothes.

I am having a hard time figuring out what to wear. Normally I only seek to look put together/professional at work but in this instance I'd like to leave a slightly sexier and more memorable impression. But without doing something obvious like wearing a fitted dress or a tight top, which will immediately read as weird to everyone based on how I normally dress.

Any ideas? Looking for very subtle ways to make myself look a little more alluring.

I would wear jeans and a casual form fitting top that shows off your figure, but maybe in a color that gets more attention. I don’t think men notice outfits that much. Mostly they notice if someone is pretty and has a nice body. So focus on hair, makeup and showing your figure.

Just wear something that flatters your figure.

Colors that flatter your skin and hair.

Nice hair, not frizzy or messy or dirty.

But it doesn’t matter much. Like the above person mentioned, men just care if you are pretty and have a nice figure.

Trust me - men don't notice what women wear. They notice whether they're overall attractive or not. So you need to find a casual outfit that flatters your figure and that's the right color for your skin tone. Do you have an hourglass figure? Wear something that defines your waist. Do you have nice legs? Maybe you want a casual skirt, or skinny pants. Maybe you have a cute top with a decolletage (appropriate for work) that frames your upper torso and face nicely. Play up your best features. Don't overdo the make-up. Jewelry is merely a vehicle to draw attention to certain parts of your body. Use sparingly for best effect.

And a word to the wise. You're scared people will know you want attention if you dress a certain way. No. People try on various styles depending on their moods. No one will put 2 and 2 together, as in "Larla put on this fitted dress to meet Larlo!". And if one person does. SO WHAT? No one will care.

Don't dress sexy at work. That's inappropriate. Maybe wear drivers instead of sneakers.

Red. Wear red. Research shows that everyone looks more attractive in red. Such wear your usual outfit, but make the tshirt or sweater red.

I actually look worse in red/pink/peach. I have a ton of acne scarring on my face that left it also red. Wearing red makes the redness look more red. Personally I look best in "peacock" colors - blues, greens, black, etc.

I would start with what you normally wear, and put more effort into your hair, and a smidge more mascara and some blush. I would dial it up a notch on shoes, too.

If you wear jeans, wear a pair in the same tones that are well cut to show off your figure, and a nicer t-shirt.

In Forever by Judy Blume, the main character, Katherine, says that she read men are most attracted to women when they wear light blue. So maybe wear light blue

Jeans, blazer or sweater, and a shell tank that is 20% more revealing than your usual that is just not-slutty-enough to wear jacket less if you find yourself at drinks later. You're in luck, it's almost 90 tomorrow!

I always feel effortlessly attractive in my favorite pair of jeans that flatter my figure with a nice leather belt and a tank top tucked in. “No-makeup” makeup look, hair that looks great and boots I love. Choose clothes that flatter your body and that you feel great in - it’s charismatic to feel great in your skin!
