I’ve been tasked with corralling two groups so that they may establish a workflow for something not too important but visible: it needs to be fixed. Did some legwork to establish a foundation and set a meeting with everyone (about 40 people). One invitee - with whom I have no relationship - responded with some criticism and cc’d everyone. Aside from the fact that I am not the “owner” of this project, isn’t it generally considered to be bad form to reply all in such an instance?
What say you? |
It is. Where are you and the person in the hierarchy and structure? |
I am way below them in the hierarchy, and also fairly new to the organization, but very visible due to my proximity to executive leadership. |
