Can be worn in a business casual environment
Must be closed toe Extremely comfortable. Allow for walking all over a building and grounds during work day Can be worn with skirts and dresses Wide-ish toe box Comfortable out of the box Flat. Not a sneaker Works for people with problem feet. By this I mean most shoes hurt my feet. I appreciate the help. |
The Vionic Uptown loafer! I just got a second pair because I needed pretty much everything you described above and my first pair was terrific. I got them at Nordstrom. Younger people at work have complemented the silver pair quite a bit so I guess they don't look too orthopedic. I also have some Vivaia flats that are pretty good but not as good as the loafers. |
If you are looking for something with lots of arch support, better to go the Vionic route, but if that isn’t your particular foot issue, this ticks your other boxes: https://www.camper.com/en_US/women/shoes/casi_casi/camper-casi_myra-K201253-015?size=37&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw57exBhAsEiwAaIxaZq97yR3q-2RlUfXkZuIcuiy-nwbcugseeKy1_WZVpwiax_VR4oNQBhoCQ50QAvD_BwE |
Non pointy Rothy’s in a half size up work for me. |
Coach Loafers are the comfiest shoes I've ever worn. They are like slippers. |
NP. Which ones do you like? |
Jolene Loafer, Ronnie Loafer, or the Marley Drivers. The drivers are a little more casual, so depends on what your are styling. But they will all be super comfy. |
This. Nothing has come close to how comfortable these are. |
Why are people recommending loafers when OP said she wants something she can wear with skirts and dresses? |
OP - do Clarks work for you? |
Sam Edelman loafers are exactly what you are asking for. Mid-priced, super soft and lovely. Once of the few shoes that didn’t require a breaking in period https://www.samedelman.com/product/womens-loraine-bit-loafer-3016088/black-leather-ec0220790 |
You can absolutely wear loafers with dresses. Very much in style these days: https://www.instyle.com/fashion/shoes/loafer-outfits |
