Is this word still used? I heard it on a tv show and really like it.

Sure. And why not? That said: "Copacetic, man." does not work unless you are a dude and you're high.

If you use it, also use words like substantive and juxtaposed.

I love saying juxtaposition. It’s a great word.

I had a teacher in the 80s say this. Shudder. Also liked to say "clear as mud" and "pound sand".
