Garrison WL

We are on the Garrison waitlist (low 20) and wondering if that has any chance of moving? We got a spot at nearby Seaton but were really hoping to get into Garrison (love the principal).

Totally possible but hard to say the chances.

What grade?

PK3 - Should've included that above.

The enrollment deadline is May 1, so you might see some movement next week as they extend offers to fill any seats that weren't accepted in the first round.

Principle Kip is amazing! Good luck!

Unlikely. The only year they’re gone that far into the waitlist was 21-22, when they went to 23. The other years they’ve taken 6-16 kids from the waitlist.

If you somehow managed to get super lucky, it would certainly be after school started.

Garrison really opens up for OOB students around K. I wouldn’t stress out about getting in this year.

PP - sorry, meant to say only year out of the last five years.

I love seeing this! Garrison was more of a fallback option when my kids were in PreK, but I’m glad that a public school has proved its worth over charter schools. I’m sorry this doesn’t help you get in where you want in the moment, but in the larger picture, a popular public school feels like a good thing. I wish you luck.
