Orchestra and smaller groups in MS and HS

My daughter started cello in 4th grade. She loves the instrument, and we were able to find her a great teacher for private lessons. She practices and actually plays better in her little shows than in class, which I think bodes well for mastering the instrument in the long run.

Looking forward, what are her options for musical expression as she matures in FCPS? If you happen to know the specifics, we are districted for Fairfax HS. I am also curious to know about county-wide and state-wide opportunities, should she continue to grow in her instrument.
