My kid plays in the PVAC (small schools in DMV) and their baseball playoffs are single elimination for quarter, semi, and finals. Not sure any team in the league has the depth of pitching for three games in a weekend, but my kid would love that model. It also has a better chance of the best team winning (in the PVAC the 1,2 and 3 seeds were knocked out in the quarter or semis).
