I actually love some of the neighborhoods tucked back off of Braddock in that area. Big lots and trees with some cute not-cookie-cutter homes. |

That's a HUGE piece of land ( .5+ acre) and a blank slate to build and customize your dream home. The utilities and infrastructure are there already to boot.

It is inside the beltway, with good connectivity to the beltway and downtown Annandale is 5 minutes away. If Catholic, there is a church and church elementary school at the end of the street. Main downside is no nearby MetroRail, but there are frequent buses from downtown Annandale to Pentagon via Columbia Pike.
That area seems very ripe for redevelopment. |
