I am considering moving to Glover Park (renting) because the rents are cheaper. I am a single mom who has fit in very well in Columbia Heights, Petworth, Takoma and Takoma Park. Will I like it in Glover Park? Who generally lives there? Are there lots of families there? What's the vibe? What do families tend to do there? |
Families, college students, young professionals, older people. It’s a really good mix of quiet people. Rental apartments are a good value - concrete built, spacious, and cheap. You get a lot for your money. If you have a car, definitely rent off-street parking if the landlord offers it. Parking is tough.
Stoddert ES is over crowded, but otherwise an excellent DCPS school. |
