Mini-split installer recommendations

| I have a 10 year old Mitsubishi mini-split/heat pump system that was destroyed by a power surge, and have spent longer than I care to admit looking for an installer. I have insurance saying a replacement for the 36,000 btu system with 3 internal air handlers is 10k, with quotes ranging from 18k - 28k--these quotes include the cost of a crane to lift it onto the roof. Ten years ago I had two Mitsubishi systems installed for 16k to also include the crane cost (the second system is in the basement, but is a smaller btu). I have spoken with Sila, Perry Aire, Argent, FH Furr, and Jimmy Gusky Heating & Air. Would greatly appreciate feedback on these companies or others from people who may have had mini-splits installed by them. |
