Recommend me a backsplash style

Anonymous
Cabinets: white
Counter: white quarts
Natural light: abundant
Other hues: honey wood tones (table), silver stainless appliances, black, kelly green

I don't want white subway tile, but something else that's pretty classic and clean.

zellige tile is hot right now! My spouse wants it. I think it will look dated in the not too distant future, but backsplashes are easy to redo, so maybe it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. It is very pretty

I agree, I think zellige tile will get dated pretty soon. We are continuing the natural stone countertop up the backsplash, but I didn’t do that, I would choose stacked vertical tiles like this

I think zellige tile is beautiful and am considering it as well. This is the easiest thing to change out if I get sick of it in the future.

Solid slab, matching your counter top

White tile is still best, but in a different size perhaps 3x3, and also laid on the diagonal / in a diamond pattern, rather than laid square.
