Furniture consignment that will pick up bunk beds

Anonymous
Suggestions for a furniture consignment place that will pick up bunk beds with stairs? Was looking at Kaiyo.com, but they do not accept bunk beds.

Your best bet is to donate if you need pickup. Or sell on facebook marketplace

It's difficult to donate large equipment. I'd list it on the BuyNothing or FB Marketplace and it should go.

OP, you are specifying consignment, not donation -- are you also only interested in free pick-up, or are you willing to pay a fee for the pick-up to consignment?

keep in mind that while the nice bunk and loft beds do sell on fb marketplace, you're usually getting like 1/6th what you paid.

So I bought what was originally a $3000 pottery barn kids bed for $500 and picked it up. Sellers disassembled and had it ready to go. Make sure you have a reasonable target price in mind.

Based on my experience with different large furniture items, I think you'll have a hard time finding any consignment or donation place that will pick up or even accept such a large item. I think your best best will be, as others said, to advertise on fb marketplace and disassemble it yourself. If you can't handle the disassembly, try task rabbit for that and build it into what you sell for. I suspect you won't make much but you'll at least have it out of your house and hopefully to another home that will use it.

Just give it away on your local buy nothing group on FB. Someone will want it and come get it.

Habitat for humanity picks up furniture for donation.

Be aware that H4H picks up furniture that is disassembled and at the curb-side. There is a charge if they need to come into the home to pick up items. They will not pick up an item that is inside a home that does not fit through the doorway. So, at a minimum, the bunk beds need to be taken apart and bundled for pick up.

If it leaves your house for free and without damaging anything, you’ve won.
