So I have draft settlement agreement that DH and I are supposed to wade through. I feel that all the legalese involving splitting finances is ridiculously complicated. The timelines are confusing. Am I out of line expecting my attorney to simplify it for me. Like in a spreadsheet or something? Maybe my CDP should be doing this? Maybe it’s me. I don’t know. But I’m overwhelmed. |
Tell your lawyer what you need.
It will cost you, but probably less than being hosed by your STBX. |
Get a schedule included of who pays whom how much and when. How can you two be expected to follow the rules if you can't understand them? |
+1. Although supposedly she explained this all to you before everyone put pen to paper for the agreement? If not, you guys are doing this in a very expensive manner. |
What is a CDP? |
