DCPS online enrollment -- how to add health and dental forms?

Anonymous
We completed the DCPS online enrollment process for our two kids starting the next higher grade at their existing MS and HS. We love the new system's use of Aspen to repopulate data from the prior year which speeds up the form completion for returning families.

We received a confirmation email confirming receipt of our enrollment submission, which included a link for submitting health and dental forms. However, the link just goes back to the original enrollment webpage and doesn't seem to offer a way to actual upload anything new.

Has anyone figured out how to submit their kids' health and dental forms?

I’ll let you in on a secret - I haven’t submitted a dental form ever, and haven’t submitted a health form in the past 3-4 years. My kid is in 6th. I understand that they check vaccination more closely in 7th but I’ll wait until they request it specifically.

Not op but really?? We get a notification within ten days of expiration of a health form and they threaten removal from aftercare if you don’t get it in within a certain time range.

Same. I haven't done it since the pandemic. Kids in 1st and 4th now. They also go to their IB DCPS and I just think they are a bit laxer because they have to accept every kid. They aren't going to throw us out due to forms.

My older son is moving to a charter middle next year and I did submit the health forms for him. Not taking any chances there

Interesting. My kid is at a charter so that explains the difference. They’re pretty serious about both forms (or threaten enough that they are).

As to OP’s question, we’ve always emailed forms to the school administrator.

I've always had to submit my forms - I email them separately to the administrator once I get updated ones over the summer.

Never used aftercare. They wouldn’t actually kick you out.

Kinda related. Has anyone had the problem with Aspen when re-enrolling and it not moving off processing? The wheel just keeps spinning.
