NY city in July for a few hours

Anonymous
Friends from overseas going to NY for a few days. They have a 13yo and 16yo. I have a 12yo and will be going up on the train for the day. I’ll be there 1045ish to 6pmish.
Thoughts on what we can do do in that time frame? My kid is outdoorsy, not sure about the other 2 kids. Everyone is a good walker.

OP here: wanted to do this but we’re going on a Monday and they all seem to be closed on Mondays.

New York Stock Exchange tour, the National Museum of the American Indian and the World Trade Center, with lunch in the restaurant at the top of One World Trade Center.

Do all of the above then take a ferry up the East River and walk across upper East to Central Park/The MET

Walk on the high line / down to battery park city, take the Staten Island ferry (free!) to see the Statue of Liberty and then take it back to Manhattan, walk over the Brooklyn bridge. Walk all day!

Bike tour. Especially one that crosses Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.
