| Hi-we're relocating from overseas and my 8 yo is very into karate (3x a week for the last few years). We'll be moving to CCMD--any recs on good studios? |

Tae kwon do is much more common around here. You might check Black Belt Martial Arts Center in Kensington— have heard good things and not sure if they teach karate.
Flying Kick in Bethesda is a good option for TKD. |

We do kicks karate in north Bethesda. My kid likes it a lot. It seems to be like “rec karate” not too intense very nurturing environment for the kids.
I’ve heard good things about the place in Kensington too. Why not try them both and pick one. |
