Bleeding nose everyday from allergy

Anonymous
This season is really bad. My kid who has allergy sneeze a lot on daily basis, with a lot of snots out from nose, watery eyes and bleeding nosefor the last few days. He does soccer and playground outdoor, so it is unavoidable. What can I do more at home indoor or outdoor to relieve symptoms. He does not want to wear cloth mask. We have eyedrop and we do 12 hours allergy relief medication in the morning, should I gove him another dose at home before sleep? We havd not tried those neti pot thing for nose, can I just use regular nose nasal saline spray?

My DD had this and it was a deviated septum.

If he'll tolerate it, I would suggest you try a nasal spray. They can be more effective.

Try Rhinase Allergy Relief Lubricating Nasal Gel or Ayr Saline Nasal Gel.

My kid had 3 nosebleeds last week 2 in one day.
She’s been on Zyrtec which works for the allergy symptoms and I added a humidifier in her room at night. No nosebleeds since starting humidifier.
The allergy meds you’re using aren’t working if he’s still sneezing a lot. Switch those.
Pollen and other allergens can dry out the inside of the nostrils causing nosebleeds. Humidifier at night helps keep everything moist up there.

+1 on the nasal gels. Ayr has a gel spray as well but I don’t find that works as well as the gel in a tube. Apply with a q tip at night. Also agree on the humidifier.
