I cannot find the title for my car and need to request a replacement one in VA. There are no liens on the title. When I went to the website, it asks to fill out a form for substitute title. In section 3 of the form it asks to check against either 1. original paper title attached or 2. title is online (electronic copy).
Now I had a paper title and I lost it. So what should I check against? I don't have the original paper one to attach (I wouldn't be requesting a replacement title if I had it) and it was not available online. Can someone help please? Here's the link https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/vehicles/title/replacement#:~:text=How%20to%20Get%20a%20Replacement%20Title%201%20Get,%29.%20...%203%20Pay%20the%20replacement%20title%20fee. And I am talking about the VSA 67 form. Thanks in advance! |
If there are no liens, don't bother with section 3. |
OP here. Thank you so much! So I can just leave the section 3 blank then. It was not clear in the form instructions so it was confusing. |
