It's really simple, OP. Use the blue masking tape to frame the area that you are painting. This will take a loot of time. After that, you are on a roll |
DP. What about complicated things, though? Like ceilings in a high stairwell? If you have a whole house to paint it can get more complicated that just doing the taping (ugh the tape takes so much patience). |
Home RenoVision DIY youtube channel is pretty good. He has painting videos and a lot of other stuff. I'm going to try my hand at hanging a door after watching his videos. |
Closets and room walls are easy enough. Ceilings, stairwell, foyer are tough. I have seen people on IG use scaffolds that they stand on to paint a ceiling and anything high. Expensive though. You can probably rent those. Another cheap way I saw was to use this.
