Egg noodles have a lot of protein. We make homemade spatzle and add butter and parm -- yum! |
Um, no. Thinking that restaurant employees are "servants" is a great example of why food culture is better in places like France, where the restaurant employees are rightly viewed as professionals and experts in their crafts. You can think that they are "servants" all you want, but that doesn't make it so. |
Materials scientist. I know a little biochem, definitely more than you. |
Why do people assume that if your kid orders buttered noodles at a restaurant that that is all they ever eat? Silly assumption. My DC eats everything, but has a favorite restaurant because they make the BEST buttered noodles in the world, according to him. We go there for the buttered noodles. If we want sushi, we go to a sushi restaurant. |
This has me thinking. Where do I find good egg noodles? Have not had them in decades! |
I see the No Yolks brand at most grocery stores. Not sure if they qualify as "good," since I'm not an egg noodle fan. |
I don't think they assume it's ALL they ever eat. But if you go to a restaurant where it's not on the menu and request it, people will assume you and your kid are snowflakes. |
