Summa Cum Laude with Honors - 9th grade. Rhodes Scholar from College at age 18. Fairfax County AAP starting in K. A lot of prepping from my parents.

Parents died young, can't find a job, hate people, depressed, spend my time bashing a broken system that didn't let me be me!

AAP does start in K. You just didn't realize that because it isn't called AAP at that level. "Junior Great Books", "Young Scholars" (suposedly for under represented students - bunch of malarky - they put who they want!) There is a lot that FCPS doesn't make public about there "tracking". And, BTW, if you wanted the thread to "die" why did you respond? Idiot!

The secret underground elementary schools in N. Korea - where the 1% "truely gifted" students get all the free protein that they can eat for lunch perhaps?

Way back when AAP was called Gifted and Talented (GT), it was for the top 7% or so. I am sure that FCPS is going to jump right on this plan.
