While not a takeout place, don't forget that Vienna has the Pie Gourmet which is amazing and my go to place for ordering when I have to bring someone a meal. Their meal pies and quiches are unbelievably good (and easy to heat up)!

Also, Church St. Pizza! I'm from NY and while no place beats an authentic Brooklyn slice, Church St Pizza is the best pizza place in NoVa!

Noodles and Co makes a decent take out meal too.

Church St. Pizza is the worst tasting cardboard pizza in this area.

Luciano's in tysons is much better.

Too bad its temporary, will go back to long hours when the kids are older. I guess since DH and I got post graduate degrees in fields with high paying stable careers albeit with very long hours, saved a lot of money by not keeping up with the Joneses and live in a nice home we are not allowed to be called anything but fake.

Work hard, achieve goals and dreams, feel fortunate = fake. Got it.

Regarding McLean Vs. Vienna. the town of Vienna is much more walkable and has many cute shops. McLean has the gourmet Giant, but Vienna has WholeFoods and FreshMarket. I prefer FreshMarket. McLean is like 90210, if you can afford it go for it! Vienna is the stepsister to McLean so it is more affordable in that your dollar will go further.

What is the median, rather than the mean. Mean is the average house, and will be skewed by the few really nicer houses. Median is the "middle" middle value.

For example, the median of 5 4 6 3 20 is 5. the Mean is 7.4.
