As long as MCPS continues to tolerate kids watching porn in schools on school-issued devices I don't think its reputation is going to improve and will almost certainly get worse as more parents become aware of what is happening

I haven't seen much from students doing anything worse than playing some games and watching youtube videos, in my classes. I think it’s a wild stretch to make a baseless claim about porn being a current issue. I think you may be projecting.

It is sop for MCPS. They do not care about student safety unless their cushy CO jobs are threatened, which is unlikely because the entire system is a huge circlejerk

I was happy with MCPS for many years but now, with my second child approaching the end of junior year, I can’t wait to be done. The new superintendent sucks, the HS’s new principal sucks, the tech platforms suck, communication sucks, the general direction seems to be decline. I still like and respect most of my kid’s teachers but they are overwhelmed and clearly not very happy either.
