| 53, I don’t use Botox. I have oily skin, which is a downer for acne but has been good for preventing wrinkles. |
| It's not just wrinkles, the bigger problem is looking like a grouch. That's why I use it. Nice, fine wrinkles look ok, just like nice thick shiny Grey hair looks ok. Depends on the person. |
| I'm in my 40s, and most friends at least have Botox in their 11s. I also do my crow's feet, frown lines, and a slight eyebrow lift because my eyelids are starting to look heavy, but I don't have the downtime for an upper bleph. I feel like Botox has become normalized among UMC women over 40 at least (I started with my 11s at 28 because I was already beginning to have a resting angry face). |
I love Hada Labo, which is a Japanese company. It's more affordable and, in my opinion, better than La Mer or Augustinus Bader. |
I’m 34 - started my 11s at 28 because they were BAD and now they’re entirely gone and I haven’t had to get Botox since 32 or so. Will start up again once I see the wrinkles setting / sticking again. It’s really effective for use cases like this where you’re young and need to “zap” early onset wrinkles and then can move into maintenance mode until they pop again. |
Same. My resting face is "knitting brows and gritting teeth in annoyed consternation." Botox helps a lot in making me look like a nicer, more relaxed person. |
| Mid-thirties here. I don’t use Botox and I consider myself somewhat vain. Very into skincare, makeup, fashion, etc from an early age. But I have some health issues that require so much intervention that elective treatments are just not appealing to me. I also mildly fear that it will mess up my face and not work due to aforementioned health issues. However, I do look young for my age in spite of a few wrinkles, so perhaps my views would change if that were different. |
| La Mer products are snake oil |

I'm 52. I color my hair and work out quite a bit. I'm fit, with good muscle definition, but not emaciated. I haven't done any work other than that because people in my profession would not take me seriously. Women with a lot of Botox and facelifts are viewed as vain and not very smart. A woman who looks good for her age (or maybe five years younger) and dresses well (as in, wears clothes that look good on her) is the winning look.

NP. I swear by them. They make my skin feel smooth as glass. |
That's nice that they work for you. I use La Prarie. |

44 here. I don't use botox but could easily afford it as part of a regular routine.
I don't care if other people use it and would consider it myself someday. But so far, I am fine with looking my age. |
| I don't anymore. I stopped. It never looks quite right on me with my brows. Also, I need a TON of units to freeze my 11s and then it fades in about 7 weeks. I apparently just metabolize it very quickly so it is not worth it. I don't really have deep 11's, but I do have forehead wrinkles and I just accept them now at 54. |
Me too at 54. Skin is too oily which sucks except for less wrinkles. I look honestly better without Botox. It messes with my brow shape. |
Yikes. That’s disconcerting. |
