Oh we're talking about minors here? Even worse. Well documented that depression sets in for many, if not most, with regrets of transitioning. Kids are not in a position to make these kinds of decisions. Doctors encouraging such therapies/treatments are evil. |
It is fine, even more so in the south. They are looking for what her engagements say about her (e.g., leadership potential, gives back to the community), more than what she chooses to join. |
No, it isn’t well documented, an evangelical fiction. Yes, there is evil here, but it runs in the other direction. |
You are an absolute Nazi. |
You are an absolute predator. |
Terrible advice. Your counselor is an idiot. |
Thank God. |
Irrelevant and inappropriate to this thread |
Where is this? DC? Montgomery County, Maryland? |
And if the applicant is Hispanic or Black it’s of course a huge plus, right? I’m so over this racial nonsense! |
This is a lie pushed on parents to then push their kids as young as 10 or 11 into transitioning- something that the pioneers, and leaders of this field recommend against! No other country, not the most progressive, does this! Why do you think that is? It is what happens when greed meets privilege. Again it is greed that fuels things in this country. |
DC wrote a supplemental essay about their involvement in their church youth group. It’s central to DC’s identity so DC didn’t want to hide it. Got into first choice Ivy, where there is a thriving Christian community. |
- a thriving community of cristo-fascists you mean. |
| I would think “church stuff” is ok, if you describe the leadership, organization activities they did. Something like, ordered materials for evening meetings, created presentations using (insert software, art stuff here), public speaking, lead discussion groups, community outreach. Focus more on the skills, and less on the content. |
