It’s MLSNext. |
I know players that live 5-10 min away from FVU practices that would rather make the 45-min drive to VDA or ARL to play ECNL National. Why? Because those clubs have a solid reputation of coaches, system in place and do well in standings for most age groups. FVU could end after next year or It will be remained again again to something else or other partner clubs, same leadership same results. Fact: You will never see parents from ARL or VDA areas commute for 45-min to Fairfax to be in FVU, that’s the truth. |
or MLSN like most do |
Going back to the OP...
Was this entire thread based on an actual fact (FVU was placed on probation), a rumor, or someone's attempt at a crystal ball prediction? Actual supporting details if claiming a "fact" please. |
Yes |
Totally, agree that teams were not built on 20 best players at tryouts. The players that were picked for the new merged teams were about half Brave/half Virginia Union. Then the problem became coaching and the politics of the merged teams. Some of the coaches didn't know how to construct their new teams. Coaches didn't admit to it, but I'm sure they were told to try and start an equal number of Brave/Union players on the new merged teams to limit parent complaints. And this policy showed up in the final results. Teams that both Brave and Union handily beat the previous year when they were separate programs, the new FXU merged teams lost to. |
Not in our age group. They only took like 2-3 Brave. The rest were Union. |
Are you on crack? You must be an ARL parent, obviously. ARL isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. EG is terrible. |
FVU is garbage. Thats what everyone knows. Bye bye ECNL within 2 yrs |
Still better than FVU by a long mile |
This whole thread is predicated off of crystal ball predictions and then supported by more crystal ball predictions. |
