It's a show about an ER. If you want something that has zero risk of being "gross" try a cooking show. Blood in underwear is probably the least gross blood-involving incident in the whole show so far. |
Dr. Collin’s isn’t interesting to me at all. Snooze fest. |
Dr Collins is okay, regardless of the current lack of back story the actress played the miscarriage very well.
Dr King is so good though. She is stealing the show. |
I really like it. Of course, there is a small suspension of disbelief: things seem to get resolved in a couple of hours when likely it would take a lot longer. The hospital administrator visits to chastise Dr. Rabi are totally unbelievable, but I can let that slide. Noah Wylie is great as is the head nurse.
We started watching it last week and caught up. Does it drop on Thursdays? |
The head nurse is phenomenal and it’s very much in the tradition of ER to have her be the heart and soul of the place. The actress really plays her so well. In general the show is very well cast. |
Yeah! |
I totally agree! |
Can someone explain to me how we know Dr Robbie has a son? How did I miss it?! |
Was anyone thinking during the episode with the father who was a predator that Santos was going to turn out to be wrong about the whole thing? I kept waiting bc r that and it never happened! |
Same. Perhaps that storyline isn't finished. |
I like Dr. Collins a lot. We know as much about her as many of the other characters, and I don't know why people expect her to be so much more fleshed out at this point than everyone else. We know the same or less about Whittaker, Javad, Langdon, and the one doctor who spends too much time with patients.
Dr. Collins is a little stoic and private, but she's not cold. Having worked in an ER, doctors like her are often pretty interesting once you get past the facade. |
There was a high school/college kid that visited and everyone gave him condoms. He was clearly well known and beloved by the staff. He came to pick up a pass to a festival, and Dr. Rabi gave him it. Said something about his mother. |
It’s still possible. The guy might’ve been scared s h I t less because this crazy intense doctor was spewing all this at him while he had a tube in his throat. |
His son was the young adult who came in and was talking about going to a music festival. Dr. Langdon was joking with him about having a girlfriend. |
Yes, to me she comes off as someone who is professional and gets the job done without a lot of fuss or fanfare. Capable and calm! I guess calm people don’t make the most dramatic tv, but people like her are actually the best to work with in real life! |
