I have hardwood/rugs downstairs and carpet upstairs. I will wear socks/barefoot upstairs, if I’m cooking or going to be standing for a while I’ll wear moccasins or slippers.

LL Bean scuffs - house is wood floors and rugs. But I do wear them outside to get mail/take out trash/walk the dog so the no shoe house police would not approve.
