HS principal and kinky boots

Our former President is on trial for paying off a porn star and was convicted of sexual assault. Half of the country could care less. So I think it’s ridiculous that some boots are offending you…

The ironic part is the parents complaining will be the ones to vote for him again.

Do you think Grease is inappropriate? Or do you think teens should have sex, smoke and change their whole personality for a bit?

Are you really going to equate Grease with a play called Kinky Boots (the name alone is inappropriate) and featuring a prominent pair of hooker shoes? The raciest thing in Grease was a motorcycle jacket.

With a four speed on the floor they'll be waiting at the door
You know that ain't no sh!t, we'll be getting lots of tit

With new pistols, plugs, and shocks, I can get off my rocks
You know that I ain't bragging, she's a real pus$y wagon

You are supreme, the chicks'll cream for grease lightning

It also has a teen pregancy scare and that god awful message of totally changing yourself into a rebel, just to impress a guy...who doesn't really have to change anything about himself.

The high school version removed the teen pregnancy. Either way, it’s better than drag queens and using the word kinky which is very inappropriate sexually.

Question to the pro-drag pro-kinky people:
Why are you so obsessed with introducing these things in public schools where a substantial portion of families find them inappropriate and offensive?
You are free to take your kid to drag shows if you think that's best for them, but why expose other kids to this against their families' will?

If the whole concept was so offensive to so many people why haven't the parents and community surrounding this school and play selection been protesting and insisting the school shut it down or have selected a different play? It appears to me that the school and community don't care. Maybe they know that the story of Kinky Boots has lots of redeeming social value and is actually based on a true story involving how a shoe manufacturer was able to revive his business by shifting to providing adequate footwear to men who needed them in the form of fancy boots. I think the reality is that HS kids today would mostly have no problem with the story and the musical unlike a few of the hyper conservatives who are critical.

You are not answering my question but I am answering yours:
Answer is:
1. 20% endorse these stuff
2. 60% don't care/don't have time/are oblivious to what's going on in their school
3. 20% are afraid to speak up because of retaliation

Really, you made up numbers to make a point?

Yes the numbers are made up but they are not far from the actual numbers.

Fun fact: In or around 1993, the West Potomac drama department was going to put on “Cat on a hot tin roof” and parents complained, so they re-auditioned and put on “Little Women” instead.

It's clear that a substantial portion of families don't feel this way. It is clear that families in FFX county generally aren't afraid of speaking up, so the fact that they aren't is a pretty good indication that the majority don't care.

1.Clear from where?
2.Define "this way".

3. Clear from where?
4. Absolutely false, I personally know many families who were afraid to speak up during pride month in our school last year where teachers were going too far because of fear of retaliation.

+1 we are afraid to speak up because we don’t want to be labeled bigots. But we don’t want any of this crap in our schools.

Don't worry, when Trump is president again it will once again be politically correct to fly your homophobic bigot flag anywhere anytime. Hang in there!

Aww. That sounds scary. Feel free to home school or send them to a religious school.
