From that Forbes article. Good stuff. “No company can keep every bad review of itself off the internet. But by authentically engaging customers, asking about their experiences, and making clear that their opinions matter, companies can do more than manage their reputation online; they can benefit from feedback in all sorts of ways they may never even realize.” This hit home, “making clear that their opinions matter.” Since the new HOS has started, she is quick to tell parents why their opinions/beliefs are wrong, instead of listening. Parents (and now teachers and administrators) do not feel heard at the school, so they come here to vent their frustration because sadly it’s the only place the HOS pays attention to. Parents wouldn’t come here if HOS actually made an effort to listen to parents. |
"Sycophants [who] villify posters"? That is humorous projection from two bullies working overtime. |
I will again say for the record that nobody from Holton has, to my knowledge, ever contacted me about these threads. Instead, posters go off into a million different directions. For example, thread is about personnel leaving Holton but, for some reason, a poster started talking about gender identity. When I removed that post, there were several posts discussing that post's removal. I have removed those as well, but it doesn't seem like there is more to say about the brain drain and posters are, instead, finding tangents about which to post.
