Williamsburg, VA. William and Mary is right there. |
I love that area. Are the schools good? |
It's also too expensive unless there is a town outside the area |
You're telling me there's no construction jobs in Pittsburgh? That seems unlikely. |
College towns. There will always be good schools available because profs require it. Might be private, though. |
Columbus, OH and burbs. Albany, NY and burbs. |

Try Downingtown PA |
Thank you |
You can get that in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton Ohio suburbs. The area is definitely aging so the house would likely need some updates - but there are definitely homes under $300k there and in pretty good school districts too. |
Oakland County, Michigan, specifically houses zoned for
Rochester Community Schools Troy School District West Bloomfield I also like Berkeley School district, it's underrated and ofc Grosse Pointe schools are excellent but it's $$$ |
I posted yesterday about Grosse Pointe - you can absolutely get in for 300K. |
Michigan is on the list of possibilities! 🔥❤️ |
PP here - if you have any more Michigan questions I am happy to help. |
Many such places in FL and the South IF "house" includes condos/ townhouses, "great schools" means not worse than DMW, and you're looking for "jobs" in the private sector. I wouldn't even consider upstate NY. |
