Exactly.

Why do you care?

If this was a Trump kid or grandkid - you would care. Hypocrite.

Biden voter but yes us dems are hypocrites in this regard.

Bittersweet symphony is a weird choice of music.

"Trying to make ends meet, you're a slave to money then you die...
But I'm a million different people
From one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
...
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Have you ever been down?
Have you ever been down?"

I thought so too - so incredibly lowbrow. However, maybe they just used the violin instrumental from the beginning of the song - I hope so.

I agree with this. The dress could be pretty, but the neckline is too schoolmarmish. Eyebrows - awful.

It was so cold on Saturday - I feel sorry for their guests! Why on earth didn't they just have the ceremony indoors?

Anyway, jealous of the brows. They make her very low key hair and makeup work.

OMG. I just noticed because you posted. They are AWFUL. Looks like two caterpillars on her forehead! And these are for life! What was she thinking? I have a daughter her age and she doesn't do anything that stupid

Why do you think they are for life? They are likely just tinted and filled in with makeup.

Hopefully your daughter knows more about eyebrow tinting than you.

Post your wedding pic.

Not going to out myself, but my dress was more like Jackie Kennedy’s and people still tell me it’s one of the prettiest they’ve ever seen. And my eyebrows didn’t look like I was a muppet. Her eyebrows are awful. In 5 years she will regret that decision. In two years she will regret them! Eyebrows are getting smaller now.

People told me that I looked beautiful on my wedding, they didn't focus on my dress. Hm....

Its really not. My DH was 25 and we were right in the middle of law/grad school/work friends getting married. The best ones get snatched out of the dating pool in their early 20s.

Actually it is PP. Just because you got married at that age 15 years ago doesn’t mean this is the norm now.

In 2021, the median age for the first wedding among women in the United States stood at 28.6 years. For men, the median age was 30.6 years. The median age of Americans at their first wedding has been steadily increasing for both men and women since 1998.

My niece is 25 and works in investment banking. ALL her friends are getting married.

I assume because they were being cautious about Covid/RSV/Flu. Also it's gorgeous out there. Also if their wedding had been just a week earlier, it would have been 75 degrees outside. November is so unpredictable.

Right, which is why you always have a back up plan when the weather is questionable - and it was predicted to be very cold, so no surprise there. The WH has several areas inside which would have been perfect. And worries about Covid, etc?? Seriously? No one rational is still worried about being indoors with other people at this point. And all guests were tested upon arrival. AND they had a luncheon inside after the ceremony, so apparently weren’t concerned about Covid.

Another mummy posting. How old are you? The eyebrows are very young and fresh. I wish old women would stop commenting on B&F, they have no clue what's going on. Jackie Kennedy?! Didn't she get married almost 100 years ago? How is this relevant in 2022?

The Biden family paid for the wedding. Moving it inside might have created problems with security, logistics, rules, and expenses we don’t understand.

Some of you think her hair was “severe” but it was windy as hell Saturday so that was a good call and possibly a last minute change for weather.

She looked exactly like Kitty Spencer (Princess Diana’s niece) at her wedding: same hair and style of dress.
