Anthony Keides named his kid Everly because he is a fan of the Everly Brothers. So poser to copy a celebrity!!! And do you like Silas because it is on the show Weeds?

Nope, Silas is my Great-Grandfather's name and I like Everly just because. Had no idea Anthony Keides even had kids or was married. So HA!

He's not married. He has Everly Bear(!) with his ex-girlfriend.

Yeah, I'm sure you heard of Everly long before he used the Everly Brothers' name as a tribute and you saw it in US Weekly. I had never heard of it being used as a name before that, but you probably came up with it on your own several years ago. This is why people are naming their kids Miley--they probably think that they just have always liked the name.

BTW, he is the singer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Um, since you know I read US Weekly, which I do not, also know the name is from an OLD Amy Tan book. I also like the name Waverly which is also in a book Amy Tan wrote. I also like the name Rowan which is in an Anne Rice book, but also a name used by Brooke Shields. So since you know SO much please know I read these names in literature LONG before any celebs used them.

But thanks for your input and insight and know it all snarky attitude!

In the interesting book What Really Happened to the Class of '65 (Book looking back ten years later at a Southern CA graduating class earlier profiled in Time magazine as the golden kids with a bright future), Brock was the handsome, likely to succeed, who eventually committed suicide. Can't believe that I actually remember this, but I do, perhaps because Brock was such an unusual name that it stuck with me.

Riley is my son's middle name. There are three other boys at his school named Riley. It is an irish boys name.
I have also heard Teagan and Keegan on quite a few boys. I love Irish boy names.
