Forgotten bulbs

I had some tulip, hyacinth, and daffodils in pots last spring. After blooming, I stored in the garage and planned to plant them in the fall but forgot till now.

Should I stick them in the ground now or wait till next fall?

I'd put them in the ground. My bulbs don't survive the temps in the summer, even in the garage.

Just a FYI, I live in DC and leave my daffodils in the ground year round. They keep coming back!

I had this situation because I nostalgicly brought some bulbs from our old house to our new house. I dug them out of the ground in August and planted them late winter. They never surfaced.
