When / how do incoming freshman not currently in DCPS do course selection?
What are the science tracks at JRHS? Assume not the bio or engineering academy. Can you do Bio/ Chem/ Physics / AP senior year? Or is it something else? |

| Maybe try to go in person with your kid and meet with a counselor. Just show up and ask. At some point they will have to meet with you |

| JR registered my kid for a full class load even though we withdrew from DCPS after 8th for private a d never enrolled in JR. We know two other kids with same situation. |

Yes. Scheduling has always been fine for my kids. Not interesting in debating with people who don't actually have kids at the school and seem intent on detailing the thread. Science is biology in 9th, chemistry in 10th for all. Most do physics (honors, AP physics 1, or AP physics mechanics) in 11th, although some do AP chem. Lots of variation/options in 12th. |
