Amazon EERO router with Verizon Fios?

Has anyone tried this? Is it very user friendly and are the parental controls easy?

How much do you trust Amazon with your data?

Not concerned about that aspect

Yes, we had this and it works really well. We did not try the parental controls.

Our router has a cable connected it, so how does that work

We have EERO and it works well but we had to get more to get it around the house better.

It means you have a MOCA bridge connection between the box on the side of the house (called an ONT) and your router. If you just need WiFi, you can turn off WiFi on your Verizon router and use practically any WiFi router connected to the local ports on the FiOS router. I did that for years to get 802.11n while staying on the old Version router and plan.
