If you've been to Florence recently and can recommend a place to stay, our family of 3 will appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

It's been a few years, but we really enjoyed the hotel Torre Guelfa. Central location, plus a tower with a spectacular view.

You can also reserve through many of the common 3rd-party hotel sites.

Really, really enjoyed the Palazzo Guadagni - great location; excellent terrace overlooking darling little plaza.

Different poster but same question - need a lovely hotel for one night only in July. We definitely want air conditioning. Budget is $200 - 400/night. Thanks for any tips.

We just were in Florence and loved our hotel, Spadai. The breakfast was amazing. We got a junior suite and it was a really nice room. Good location.

Um, most of the recommendations above are for about 700.00/800.00 per night.
Any suggestions for something in the 200-400 range?

Florence is expensive. More so if you are trying to fit more than 2 in a room. Try the Mercure.
