Annual COA increase?

Please help me determine an average annual cost of attendance increase, for planning purposes.

For example, Amherst (yup, a pricey example) is currently about $90,000 for 2024-25:

If my child will attend 2029-2033, what would that number look like?

2029-30 $110k
2030-31 $115k
2031-32 $120k
2032-33 $125k

$470,000 for four years
Does this look right?????

Child is a dual citizen of a country where a comparable full four year cost of attendance of a global T50 school will be just under $200k.

My mind is blown. I know that both schools are crazy competitive. But I need to start somewhere for planning and comparison.

For clarity, really just looking for the number I need to use to calculate typical annual increase accurately. I know there are other threads on how absurd this is (and I agree).

3-7%??? Need to narrow it if possible.

Our private was 3 percent increase last year. I haven't looked for next year yet, or maybe it isn't out yet.
