Can we share cosmetic providers we love?

I feel like posters are often asking for local-ish (MD, DC and VA) recommendations for botox, fillers, etc. I have searched this topic myself and it can be cumbersome. Maybe people can chime in here and it may be easier to search/find.

I will start:

I got botox and fillers one time with Dr. Chad Zatezalo because I was getting a consult for eyelid surgery. I like him but I thought he was very expensive! Would love to find someone that is great but less pricey.

Don't do fillers. I know people think theirs is natural and that others can't tell, but it's always obvious that something doesn't fit as it should. It will also age terribly over time.

Stick with tasteful botox.

Not really helpful but since you said "tasteful" botox....who do you recommend?

We can tell when you have botox too. There is no "natural looking 'botox". You think we can't tell, but we can, when you're 50 and your forehead has no lines, but you're standing with your 50 year old husband and his does.

I think what you mean is that you can tell when some people have botox. Congratulations! I can too. What you can't tell is who out of everyone has botox. This is like when people come to DCUM to say "2 of the 100 girls in my kid's 5th grade class have their period." I mean...you know what it obvious, right? But you actually have no idea, and it's insane and delusional to think you do.

Anyway I like Kelly Goodman's aesthetics group.

I am approaching 40 and do Botox and don’t care if you can tell. I don’t look like a 25 year old, I look like an attractive 40 year old who cares about her appearance. My 11’s make me look super angry and tired and I don’t like them.

Anyway I love Dr. Mana Ogholikhan in Greenbelt.

There's a big difference between "she doesn't have deep forehead lines" and "her lips/cheeks/etc don't fit her face."

Fillers always look a mess because they just don't fit the person. They look like you're forcing a kinda similar puzzle piece into a spot because you lost the correct piece. There is no such thing as natural looking fillers. Botox... well, at some point in time we didn't have forehead lines. It's still the same face, just less animated.

I was with you until you wrote the bolded sentence. Just because someone makes a different choice than you doesn't mean she doesn't care about her appearance.

You think I, at 58, don't care about my appearance because I don't do Botox/fillers? I think you insecure and fearful. I know I'm valued and found attractive for who I am, not because of my lack of 11s.
