Azstarys

Any recent feedback for a child with ADHD-combined type who can be very impulsive? Thank you

My child has been taking for over a month now and so far we've found it be the best of the many meds we've tried. It helps with implusiveness and has less side effects as other durgs (the rebound effect at night).

It's working great for my ADHD MSer. It lasts all day, helps him focus at and after school, and he doesn't need a booster. No significant side effects (he's 14 and eats like a horse -- maybe he'd eat like two horses without it, but who cares).

Awesome! Anyone else’s child tried it?

my 14 yo has been on it for about 3 months. he had horrible rebound with vyvanse- it was scary actually- and couldn’t sleep on adderall. so far so good. my doc told me he actually really likes azstarys, even though it’s not one of the big names. we do give it to him about 30 minutes before i actually need him to get up, he’s much more pleasant and coopérait e in the morning this way. seems to take that long to kick in

Interesting! I’m going to ask our doctor. My child responds well to methylphenidate but needs something that lasts long. He can get grumpy easily so I’d have to try and see how he responds. I’m glad someone asked about this med, and thanks for the feedback.

For those of you with kiddos on Azstarys, we’re supposed to be trying it, but can’t find the 26.1/5.2 dose in stock anywhere. Anyone have any leads?

I just picked up some of that dose yesterday from a CVS in Fairfax.

Have other ADHD-C kids found success on Azstarys? Need something long to cover extracurriculars.
