Looking for a rec for a derm who can do a preventative skin cancer check. No concerning areas, just fair white skin and middle aged so <18 history of tanning and burning when it was more in style. Last doctor (who I loved) no longer takes insurance and quoted several hundred out of pocket for the check.
On BCBS for insurance, and would love the Upper NW/bethesda/CC Wisconsin Ave-corridor but will travel for a kind person seeing you butt-naked under fluorescents and vulnerable. |

I like Tamjidi, but it’s Friendship Heights, is that in the right place?
They’re really nice but honestly anyone in a dermatologist office should be able to be kind and professional for a skin check. It’s just skin and a cooter etc. They’ve seen it. Just pretend you’re a dead fish. Or something else you prefer to pretend. I like to be fish. |
| I'm in Upper NW, but travel to SkinDC in Rosslyn for Dr. Caroline Stovall. She's excellent, the derm's office is really nice, and they take my BCBS. |

We had a positive experience here with two different providers: Chevy Chase Cosmetic & Dermatology Center.

| I’ve seen a few people at Tamjidi in Friendship Heights. After 20 or so years in one location, they recently moved to new offices stop the FH metro - can’t be easier to find. More parking also. |
