100% cotton dresses

I borrowed a friend's Banjanan dress recently and loved it. Are there any other similar brands people could recommend? I'm looking for something that's easy/unfussy to wear, midi or maxi length, short sleeved or 3/4 length sleeves, and 100% cotton (this is where Boden or other similar brands seem to fall short!). Not looking to spend Banjanan retail prices but I would for something perfect. Though if I'm going to do that, I'll just buy from that site, probably!

I get some dresses from this Australian site - all cotton:

Fat Face has a nice selection, too:

Thank you for this! I'm looking at Karma East now. In your experience, how is the sizing? I'm following their size guide and it seems very generous (I'd normally call myself a Small or Medium but am sizing to XS using their measurements).

I was between an xs and a small, and got the xs - they fit great except are the teeniest bit tight right under my arms. i have two of these in different prints:

If I got this model again, I'd probably size up to a small - for other models, I'm not sure which I'd choose! That's teh only thing about ordering from Australia - returns aren't so easy. These dresses aren't ungodly expensive so I will probably try again - maybe order an XS of one and a S of another, just to see.

Google Modcloth cotton dresses and see if anything there appeals.

Not OP, but I like that Fatface site. Just ordered a dress.

The fat face dresses are not cotton.

I love the australian site -- but I'm too nervous to deal with international returns. If anyone has a similar suggestion from the US, I'd love to hear it.
(not OP).

Wow, love the Australian dresses. Can I wear this as a 60 year old, though?

Op here and I'm about to place an order for two dresses on the Australian site. It feels like a bit of a risk but the prices are good even with international shipping so will see. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I think so! Op here. I'm 42 and feel like there's enough variety in pattern and cut to find a dress that would work for most ages. Some of the sale patterns definitely seemed less suited for older ages (including my age).

I like Few Moda, but their dresses skew younger

I don't know if Daughters of India is too boho for you, but I have a dress from there that is the best thing to wear on those 100 degree August days
