My father had to have blepharoplasty a few years ago because his eyelids were so droopy it was impairing his vision.
I'll be in the same boat, I fear. Anyone had success with the surgery itself and happy with the results? Also, my dad's was covered by insurance - anyone have success in getting insurance to cover this surgery? |
It's got to be one of the easiest and best surgeries to do whether medical or cosmetic. Dr. Rostami is the person to go to for it. |
I had it done a few years ago and would do it again if necessary. So easy and such a big difference in appearance! Insurance covered mine easily |
How did you get insurance to cover it? My eyelids are definitely getting droopier but I worry they'll say it's just for appearance and not for vision. Would love any tips - does it help to go to an ophthalmologist rather than plastic surgeon? |
You’ve asked this question already recently. |
I was seeing an eye doctor for another issue and did a field vision test that showed I had some issues- he determined it was from my eyelids. referred me to ocular facial surgeon. It was super easy. |
Is that directed at the OP? I am the OP. I have only asked the question once, to start this thread. Not sure what you're talking about. |
Munique Maia is amazing |
Insurance might cover part of upper eyelid surgery, but unlikely to reimburse lower eyelid surgery. Recovery is generally pretty easy. Dr. Chaboki is good and will give an honest opinion. |
Any additional doctor recommendations - particularly ones who are aggressive about getting insurance to cover part of it? |
