2nd car - Another crossover, SUV, or stick with sedan?

| We are a family of 4 (2 elem aged kids) with a Subaru Forester and 15 year old Jetta that needs to be replaced soon. I like having a smaller car for city driving but it's clearly not as practical. I mostly just drive it to the metro station or to run errands. Wondering if it's better to get another crossover or larger SUV so we can both tote kids around? Or is keeping a sedan for city driving a frugal solution? Most families I know have either 2 SUVs or one Mini Van and a sedan. Thanks for your input! |
