| I've seen so many issues with the tech in this thing but the discounts right now are insane. Does anybody own one and care to comment on what you think about it? |
| Bumping this. NP here. I am seriously considering one. Anyone with experiences to share? |
| They look good, but I will never buy an American car again. |
| NP above here. I have now had two different Hondas with transmissions that have gone bad before 90k. So I am not so keen on foreign cars at the moment. |

You should look for an owner's forum or two.
I had a niche car once (Saab 92x) and really enjoyed being part of a small, knowledgeable community. Here is a review from a forum site. https://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/lyriq-forum.1025/ That forum has a Lyriq subforum. There's also a subforum at insideevs.com. |
|
PP. Sorry, here's the review.

Interesting. My buddies CRV just had the transmission die right at 100k. CVT? |
DP. CRV is a high volume of sales vehicle. If there is a systematic problem or recall, it should be easily findable through researching on the broader internet. |
| PP here… we have had the transmission issue on an Odyssey and now a Pilot. |
| I'd check out the Reddit forums. |
Honda, as a whole, had had notorious issues with their transmission designs across the board over the past 15 years. |
| PP here… well, I bought one. Stay tuned! |
PP. Congrats, OP! Come back after a while and let us know how it's going for you. It is a very attractively styled vehicle! As I recommended above, I think owner forums can be a lot of fun and a source of advice when needed. |
