| So she doesn't have a job but she can't handle taking a class while all 3 of her kids are in school? |
|
By "better," I would agree that she doesn't seem to be high and her kids are seemingly gettingly to school and Dr appointments on time. But she's still into hair extensions and makeup, stupid business ideas (now it's all day lipstick. Before it was some mary Kay stuff thru her mom), and doing really nothing for her future. She's all talk about what she wants (to be an example for her kids and to go to college) but has zero drive or desire to do any of the work to accomplish any goal. |
I agree. And the myth that online classes are easier to handle is not that uncommon. Many students don't realize that if it's hard to concentrate on homework because your life is hectic, it's going to be impossible to concentrate on a class at home. I'm sure she intends to try, but probably won't be successful. And that's okay. I honestly felt really bad for her in the advisor's office as she basically admitted failing at something she had been really excited for. I think she should go back to some kind of trade school and get a specialized certificate, so she doesn't have to bother with classes that don't relate to her career. If freakin' Jenelle can complete surgical tech training, I think Leah has at least that much drive to do something similar. She has been doing a lot better this year. She has I think two SUVs that have been consistent, and then she has a van that she rents for the trips to Columbus. I almost (almost!) felt for Kail with having the boys act up at her class. I think a lot of moms (meaning moms on these shows, not the typical DCUM overachievers) would have used lack of childcare as an excuse to skip class. Sure, she should have solidified plans with Javi first, instead of calling him on the way, but I'll give her credit for showing up to class. My mom earned her bachelor's when I was maybe Isaac's age or a little older, and I attended a few of her classes. This was before tablets and phones, so I remember vividly sitting in the back of the classroom with a bag of Cheetos, chocolate milk, crayons, paper, and the fear of God if I acted up. I was surprised that Isaac was misbehaving and that Kail didn't give them her phone or have some kind of electronic babysitter. Isaac could have sat quietly reading or drawing, but Lincoln is what, 2 or 3? Not really reasonable to think he's going to entertain himself. |
Of all the people getting sucked into MLM scams, I would think these girls could actually be successful at it, given their access to a huge fan base of idiots who will buy anything from them. Look how many books they've sold! I thought Mary Kay might actually be a good move for Leah. She could hawk the makeup on her social media and probably get plenty of customers or people to sign up under her, just to have that connection. Kail retweets everyone who tweets her with a picture of her latest book, so clearly there are people out their clamoring for these girls' attention. |
None of the "teen moms" on any of these shows have a job, do they? They get paid too much from MTV to actually need a "real" job. Hopefully they've invested the money from the show and their book sales wisely... |
People hate her, but Farrah is the only one with hustle. She's continuing to use her porn connections and participate in various paid events and of course, sell plastic molds of her lady parts. She also has her frozen yogurt store and I thought some other non-porn venture. |
A furniture store, I believe. |
| The Brianna baby shower was a complete sh!tshow! As her sister said, it was all men! And why was her ex boyfriend there? |
| So gross watching Jenelle with Ensely knowing now that poor baby was born with drugs in her system. And of course MTV covered that up. Disgusting. |
Because she invited him, of course. Why the hell is she throwing herself a party anyway? And doesn't she have anything left from her older daughter who is still so young? And why is her family all drama, all the time? |
I am watching and came to ask the same question! They can't function without drama. Let's rent a house so I can throw myself a baby shower, invite my ex and his friend (because we are cool and he WANTED to come!) invite my current baby-daddy and his posse (because guys apparently love a Saturday Shower - who knew!) and then pout and hide upstairs! Wtf! |
The after shower scene in the restaurant was awful. She tells her family they are broken up, he cheated, she wanted to do adoption, he refused and she knows she's going o be stuck raising another kid all by herself. She starts crying and nova then cuddles into her, having heard all this yet again. I feel really bad for nova. |
And the store named after Sophia, with little girl clothes and accessories. She also sells her own morality and pride every chance she can by getting on any tv show possible. |
I noticed that leah had zero bright non removable lipstick on at all the last two shows. |
I also finally watched this weeks episode last night and could not believe all the drama surrounding a baby shower. I agree why wasn't her mom and sister throwing the shower for her? To invite your ex and then get upset when even her mother and aunt expressed that was not the best idea. I would not be surprised if Nova grew up to have a negative view of men with the way her family talks around her. If the rumors are true that Chelsea is seriously considering leaving the show after this season I can see MTV giving Brianna more air time and slowly phasing out Chelsea because let's face it she does not bring the "drama" they need and want for the ratings. |
