| Never used it before but considering. Hoping it’s not like Scott. We use the blue Cottonelle currently. Is it double ply like Charmin? |
| It is double ply and way better than Scott. I think it's comparable to Charmin. It's all we use! |
| a slow friday night on DCUM |
It's been a slow week or two really. |
It gave you something to do though, clearly. |
Looks like you aren’t doing anything exciting otherwise, PP. Wild Friday at home for you, too? |
We all can’t have wild Friday night’s on DCUM like you, PP. Oh, wait… |
| We use Cottenelle, my parents use Kirkland. I think Kirkland is more like Angel Soft. Way better than Scott’s—it has some ply and some softness but isn’t as thick or soft as Cottenelle. My biggest complaint and the only reason I can’t stand Kirkland is it is very dusty/linty. It even feels dryer compared to Cottenelle. |

I bought some today. No idea what’s it’s comparable too but it’s good.
Bought a rotisserie chicken too because i release if I shred it it feeds my dog for 5 days and works out way cheaper than dog food. I’ve heard it’s too salty for dogs but he’s almost 13 and had cancer so we don’t care about his salt intake. |
| It is not comparable to Charmin. It is thinner and I feel has gotten a bit thinner over the years. I recently switched to the Member's Mark brand at Sam's Club and like it much more. |
| I would also say it’s comparable to Angel Soft. Which coincidentally was what I used before I switched to Kirkland. It’s not as plush/thick as the thick Charmin, at all. But it’s more substantial than Scott. I started using Angel Soft when I lived in an old house with old plumbing back in the 2000s and just never stopped - I got used to it and now I prefer a “less plush” TP. |
| Clogs my toilets. I have to use the plunger more often. Sometimes it makes me have three flushers as well |
Yes! I remember my sister’s plumber told her not to use Kirkland TP for that reason. |
Interesting. If it's not as thick as Charmin, why does it clog toilets? Because you use more of it? |
Probably that and maybe the fact that it’s thinner means it clumps into a ball more than a thicker paper? |
